Alexandra “Ally” Comegys is an Associate Attorney at Turnbull, Nicholson & Sanders, P.A. Ally has experience in handling cases involving divorce, child custody, and child support.
Ally was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland and attended the Institute of Notre Dame during high school. Ally traveled to the College of Charleston in South Carolina, where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and a minor in Spanish. During her time in Charleston, Ally completed an internship with Charleston Pro Bono Legal Services, where she was first introduced to attorneys working on family law matters. As a legal intern, Ally developed an interest in family law and recognized the importance in pursuing a career where she would be able to offer support to clients who are navigating challenging times.
In 2022, Ally graduated from the University of Maryland School of Law, and she was admitted to the Maryland Bar. After graduation, Ally completed a judicial clerkship with Judge Diane E. Adkins-Tobin at the Circuit Court for Harford County. After her clerkship, she joined a law firm in Bel Air, Maryland, where she primarily practiced family law.
Ally completed the 40 Hour Civil Mediation Training, allowing her to mediate general civil litigation cases. Ally also completed the Best Interest Attorney Training with the Maryland State Bar Association. Ally is a member of the Maryland State Bar Association, the Women’s Bar Association, the Baltimore County Bar Association, and the Harford County Bar Association.
