Attorney Jasmine N. Pope Sworn In as President-Elect of The Alliance of Black Women Attorneys of Maryland, Inc.

On June 10, 2025, The Alliance of Black Women Attorneys of Maryland, Inc. (ABWA)’s 2025-2026 executive board was sworn in. The Honorable Shirley M. Watts, Justice of the Supreme Court of Maryland, presided over the ceremony. The ABWA’s Mission is “The objective of the Alliance shall be to maintain the honor and integrity of the legal profession; to promote the administration of justice through its members; to advance and protect the interest of black women attorneys; to improve the delivery of legal services; and to aid in protecting the civil and human rights of all.” The ceremony took place in the Kaplan Courtroom of the Clarence Mitchell Courthouse. The Executive Board Members are:
