Christopher W. Nicholson, partner at Turnbull Nicholson & Sanders, presented at the Family Law Case Update, hosted by the Baltimore County Bar Association in Towson, Maryland on May 28, 2025. Included in the annual case law update, Chris discussed the new case law regarding Contempt proceedings, whether a Deed is required to transfer title of real property pursuant to a Marital Settlement Agreement, and what is considered “good cause” in awarding a party attorneys’ fees. Chris presented with Attorney Ilene Glickman, who provided a Maryland Legislative update including new Custody Factors and updated statute regarding child support.
