Mary Roby Sanders selected to two 2020 Maryland Super Lawyers lists

Turnbull, Nicholson & Sanders partner Mary Roby Sanders was selected to two 2020 Maryland Super Lawyers Lists – the Top 100 Lawyers List and the Top 50 Women List. Mary has been listed as a Maryland Super Lawyer every year since 2007.

Mary is an AV Preeminent rated attorney who practices exclusively in the area of family law. She won the 2019 Beverly A. Groner Family Law Award, which recognizes an attorney or judge who has served the Maryland Legal Community through their dedication to the practice of family law and has exemplified the highest professional standards during a distinguished legal career. Additionally, she was presented with the prestigious J. Earle Plumhoff Award from the Baltimore County Bar Association in January 2012 for professionalism in the practice of law and has been named for the past three years as one of Newsweek’s Best Lawyers in America. She is also a former member of the Judicial Nominating Commission for Baltimore County and a member of the Dissenter’s Club.

Mary is a member of the Women’s Bar Association, a former chair and current member of the Baltimore County Bench Bar Committee and the Family Law Committee of the Baltimore County Bar Association. She is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and past chair of the Family Law Section Council of the Maryland State Bar Association.

Turnbull, Nicholson & Sanders grows with two new attorneys

The law firm of Turnbull, Nicholson & Sanders is proud to announce that two new associate attorneys, Alexis L.Holiday and Snehal P. Massey, have joined the firm, expanding the firm’s premier family law practice in Towson, MD. We are excited that Alexis and Snehal have joined the team to further strengthen our firm’s high-quality legal services.

Alexis Holiday graduated from the University of Baltimore School of Law, cum laude, in 2019, and was a member of the Royal Graham Shannonhouse III Honor Society. While in law school, Alexis was a Rule 19 Attorney in the Family Law Clinic and served as a Production Editor for the University of Baltimore Law Review. After law school, Alexis served as a Judicial Law Clerk for the Honorable Dennis M. Robinson, Jr. in the Circuit Court for Baltimore County. She was admitted to the Maryland Bar in December 2019 and is a member of the Baltimore County Bar Association and the Maryland State Bar Association.

Snehal Massey graduated from the University of Baltimore School of Law with a concentration in Family Law, where she practiced as a Rule 16 Student Attorney in the Family Law Clinic. After law school, Snehal clerked for the Honorable Ronald A. Silkworth in the Circuit Court for Anne Arundel County. She is also trained to serve as a Court-Appointed Child Counsel.Prior to law school, Snehal worked in both the corporate and non-profit sectors as a marketing professional for six years before attending law school. She currently served on the board of Christalis, Inc., a non-profit organization that develops and maintains programs to help underserved children and families in various parts of the world.

Five Attorneys from Turnbull, Nicholson & Sanders Selected to 2020 Maryland Super Lawyers Lists

The law firm of Turnbull, Nicholson & Sanders is proud to announce that five of its attorneys have been recognized by Super Lawyers on their 2020 Maryland Super Lawyers Lists. The attorneys recognized by Super Lawyers are Christopher W. Nicholson, Mary Roby Sanders, Rebecca A. Fleming, Alaina L. Storie and Nicole E. Rush.

Christopher Nicholson was named to the Top 100 List and Mary Roby Sanders was named to both the Top 100 List and the Top 50 Women List. Rebecca Fleming was also named to the Top 50 Women List. Alaina Storie and Nicole Rush were both named as 2020 Rising Stars.

Snehal Massey joins Turnbull, Nicholson & Sanders as associate attorney

Snehal Massey joined Turnbull, Nicholson & Sanders as an associate attorney in February 2020. Snehal graduated from the University of Baltimore School of Law with a concentration in Family Law, where she practiced as a Rule 16 Student Attorney in the Family Law Clinic. Snehal is also trained to serve as a Court-Appointed Child Counsel.

Chris Nicholson presents at St. Mary’s County Bar Association Child Counselor Training Seminar

Christopher W. Nicholson, partner at Turnbull Nicholson & Sanders, presented at a Child Counselor Training Seminar, hosted by the St. Mary’s County Bar Association in Leonardtown, Maryland on January 31. Chris received a certificate of appreciation in recognition of his presentation.

Alexis L. Holiday joined Turnbull, Nicholson & Sanders as an associate attorney in January 2020, focusing her practice on family law matters. Alexis graduated from the University of Baltimore School of Law, cum laude, in 2019, and was a member of the Royal Graham Shannonhouse III Honor Society.
