William F. Alcarese, Jr.


Mr. Alcarese is a litigation attorney who has handled a diverse nature of cases throughout his career.  Currently, he focuses his practice on family law, but has prior experience handling criminal and civil matters as well.

Situations involving families including, but not limited to, divorce, custody/visitation, child support and protective orders are unique and complex.  Mr. Alcarese is cognizant of this and gives his utmost attention and consideration to each case in an effort to diligently work to a resolution.  In that regard, he has experience negotiating and drafting prenuptial agreements, post-nuptial agreements and marital settlement agreements. 

Mr. Alcarese also handles contested and uncontested adoption proceedings, including complex interstate adoptions subject to the Interstate Compact on the Placement of Children.

Mr. Alcarese grew up in Baltimore County. He graduated from Loyola Blakefield, Loyola College with a business degree, and the University of Baltimore School of Law, cum laude. Upon graduation from law school, he clerked for the Honorable Kathleen G. Cox in the Circuit Court for Baltimore County and then entered private practice.  Mr. Alcarese remains active in various bar associations and legal organizations.
