Amelia E. Marsden

Amelia E. Marsden joined Turnbull, Nicholson & Sanders, P.A. as an Associate Attorney in August 2021, focusing her practice on family law matters. Amelia graduated from the University of Maryland Francis K. Carey School of Law in 2020.

Amelia received her undergraduate degree from Loyola University Maryland, cum laude and with other honors, in Political Science. While at Loyola, she served on the Student Government’s Executive Board, where she advocated for survivors of sexual assault on campus. Her passion for helping others influenced her decision to go to law school.

While in law school, Amelia was a Rule 19 Attorney in the Gender Violence Clinic and served as an Articles Editor for the Maryland Law Review. In her role as a student attorney, Amelia provided direct representation to low-income clients affected by domestic violence.

After law school, Amelia gained invaluable experience serving as a Judicial Law Clerk for the Honorable Christopher B. Kehoe in Maryland’s intermediate appellate court. She was admitted to the Maryland Bar in December 2020 and is a member of the Baltimore County Bar Association, Women’s Bar Association, and the Maryland State Bar Association.

In her free time, Amelia enjoys spending time with her dog, biking, and trying new restaurants in the Baltimore area.
